WOW....thoes look great to me. I always wait 2 to 5 days after the jar is fully white
before i dunk. as for pins, i have never had any pins in my jars. but i hear it is o.k. to dunk a cake that is pinning. BTW i don't know if it matters. but i lite shock my jars for 24 hr. before dunk. i just take and put the jars upside down under a lite.

I take valium, xanax or atavan at the end of my trip it's like the iceing on the cake for me. it also helps me settle down.

o.k. what about rolling, after my 1ST dunk i have been rolling cakes in fine verm..
does it help? and should rolling be done after every dunk?

one more thought, i have a bad habit of forgetting to shake my syringe and i believe that also caused porblems for me. so don't forget to shake and tap on the syringe..

Welcome to the fourms, this is a good hobby. i am fairly new to this myself but with PW and baph's help i am having a blast enjoying the fruits of my labors.

3 to 5 days is the norm.. if you do not see cotten looking fuzz  in about 14 days more than likely there is a problem. i have come across  this before. 2 things, sub is packed to tight or syringe weak or bad. these are two porblems i had in the past..
and the longer they go the more chance of contams..

what about redunking after a 2ND or even a 3RD flush.

o.k. temptation got the best of me so i'm goin to do it.. i will let you guy know how it goes...

Check this pic out one month from start to finish.  These are TC.  On this one I made a syringe from one of my own sport prints.   I am so proud of myself, I have to show off my babies.  This is a great hobby I am glad I started this.

i have had B+'s and T.C.'s, thay have move fast. 1/2 the time as the G.T.'s
and i im using a tropic-aire humidifier & air exchanger. i like it, it keeps my RH @ 95-99%.. and it also takes care of my FAE.

  i started some G.T's. back nov. and thay are just now fruitting.
maybe a slow moving strain, inoculation to fruit it took 2 1/2 month. 

yes i used plastic ziploc 2 cup jars one time. in boilling water for 1 1/2 hours, but if you can find glass you would be better off. IMO

p.s. microwavable safe..

yes i have to agree with sin.  i have been down that road and started this hobby i bought pre pre-pared jars and more than half ended up being contaminated.  i do know what you are talking about with the UV sterilization i am not sure how that works with unwanted contaminants because i used to raise exotic fish and we would us UV light to kill parasites on the fish.. i am not sure if it takes care of unwanted molds and mildew.  and if you cannot find a pressure cooker boiling works fine, i have done it.  now i have the pressure cooker and never have any contamination, just take it slow and follow the teks and you'll be fine.
