Hmm that was probably worded poorly.... I wanted to check out making spore print so I left it on a piece of paper over night but never seen anything depositted on the paper. I'm just trying out a bunch of stuff with the bad cake

So my best bet is to add more moist things in there, but avoid having a water base in the bottom of the container?

I've made a note to actually dunk them because this time around I was so anxious/under the influence of alchohol at the moment I had taken it out. I've read about people rolling the cakes in vermiculite afterwords, what purpose does this serve?

Getting it back up would imply it was there already haha. Right now its at a steady 25C and 88 RH.

What's the difference of pinning and when they are at a point that I can mist?

heh yeah I usually have to do things hands on before I understand them. I could read an entire book on C programming but unless I actually try it I will be clueless about it Same goes for this I read a bunch of crap but I understand it much faster when I do it. I just need to get my sterilizing techniques down alot better. I think I may have done something wrong with the boiling.
edit; My hydrometer at this moment is reading 77% I'm thankful the mushies are still growing hah

I forgetwhere I read it but isn't misting the FC when doing cakes bad for the mycellium? The air stone is something that you'd put in a fish tank for fresh air right?

youtube vid I had found while checking out what golden teacher looked like, and I noticed he had what appears to be fish pumps just bubbling water inside his fruiting chamber. Would that add any humidity, cause I might just try that.

Has anybody made spore prints from the B+ strand? They kind've look like they're not the easier to make spore prints of, and identify when the veil just breaks

Well my the camera I use is pretty shitty, but I'll take some pictures after I get back from exams. By then the mushrooms probably will grow even more.

Well I'll make sure to post some pics in a few days when some have fully grown. What should I do though if only like 2 start to grow now and mid growth others start pinning? Just take the fully grown ones out and let the others still grow or dunk?

Not everybody has a few bucks that is easy to risk, maybe you should put that into consideration...

I hear nothing but good about them... How ever I am very curious why I've never recieved to slightest response when I tried contacting them, thats a bit of a turn off for me. Does ralphsters charge for s/h ?

Well went to the post office, a money order is 5$. If I was sending 200$ I wouldn't mind but 5$ our of a 20$ possible order just isn't worth it imo. Does ralphsters charge shipping and what not as well? Cause I might just try to send money via the mail if it isn't that much for shipping(i'm in southern ontario)
