what happens if i do put the mush in an direct light source?
Option 1: If your have it in a direct light source. Its ok as long as its not to hot. I found it works better. I am using a heat lamp in my friends secret hidden chimney. It creats a great all day heat source and light. I picked it up at a petstore. 75 watt bulb. I

It also imitates the sun with a special coating on it. At pj's and its meant for chameleons. So try this its really good for your mush. Make sure to turn it off at night.
