Question: what happens if i do put the mush in an direct light source?
Option 1: If your have it in a direct light source. Its ok as long as its not to hot. I found it works better. I am using a heat lamp in my friends secret hidden chimney. It creats a great all day heat source and light. I picked it up at a petstore. 75 watt bulb. I votes: 1

This site gave an not such a good tip on lighting. Heres what i found.

It also imitates the sun with a special coating on it. At pj's and its meant for chameleons. So try this its really good for your mush. Make sure to turn it off at night.

Kelvin 6500k Flourescent Colored is the best and recommended by most mycologists
