Well I am wanting to use Rye grain in Filter patch bags. My innoculation technique is simple. just blend up 4-5 petris in about 600 ml H20 in a eberbach and pour on sterilized grain in bags. I am used to using a brand of birdseed but have lost availability and and seem to get wal-mart brands etc.. to work. So back to Rye. It has been years and I used to use glass jars back then. Anyone have a clue the best way to sterilize bags in 25x sterilizers. I was thinking of doing a simmering method described in the simple minded grain teks then sterilizing four bags filled with 2 kilos of soaked rye grain for 2.5 hours at 15 PSI. The time is my main concern. where is a good source of sterilizing strips?(cheaper than Stamets?)

Sounds good.
Sterilizing strips cheaper than Stamets' ....difficult, particulary since the Stamets's ones aren't really that expensive.
