Title: GREEN MEANIE OR BLUE BOY BRUISING?
Post by: luffn on March 11, 2012, 12:19:45 PM
Hey, I'm sure you guys get a great deal of noobs who come in to check if they are doing things right.. I am no exception. xD

I am just so furious.. I might have a contaminate.. or just bruising.. but I am not very sure, as I am not familiar with the differences.

If I could get someone to tell me.. In the picture is my cake that just began pinning 2 days ago.. but still has shown slow progress, and you can clearly see the bluishness around it.

dude, looks like that sucker is dry or something. The blue means it is in distress. From the pic I think that is what you have going on there.

an easy trest to determine bruising from contams is to simply and gently swab the area with a q-tip.....bruising will leave no trace...contams will mark the swab....hth
