Title: wbs casing
Post by: psycho4psilo on July 09, 2007, 03:24:34 PM
I recently tried the wbs tek and all my jars are colonizing very quickly  -_-(much quicker than brf cakes). Am about ready to case my wbs but, have had difficulty finding coir.   I tried searching for other types of growing caing methods but could only find spawning teks.  Can anyone help with another growing / casing method?
Thanks!

you can get coir at most pet stores.
if your town dont have it you may need the net.
If not, there is many posts on the shroomery that have differant casing teks.

You don't need coir. Good quality potting soil and some limestone flour do the job just well.

I've heard of people using potting soil but I have never tried it.

Well hell I should have known that I've seen that page hundreds of times.

I'm gonna try that in my next batch and compare the results.
