Title: Quick questions
Post by: boomer on September 24, 2010, 08:58:11 PM
Someone i know might have a problem, there substrate mixture was a little too wet and might have been packed in too tight in some spots. 1. Will the myc grow in these spots where the verm/brf is too close to the jar? Will it not be able to cover those spots or will it eventually push its way under it? And 2. If the substrate was too wet could there be cobweb mold on the cakes? It has been ten days and there are some good signs of myc in big white circles but there is also spots where it seems less white and not round, and its spreading awkwardly. Anyone know whats going on?

As long as there are only spots where "your friend" injected them then you should be alright. It may be growing weird due to how you (I mean your friend) packed the substrate in there. Good luck.
