Title: Pining for Pins
Post by: coyoteyogi on August 11, 2009, 09:21:19 AM
So I had very good results with popcorn, at least, up until this point in the cycle. I've got 10 bread pans filled with PC cased with either 50/50 coir verm or 100% verm. I mist with 9/1 H2O/H2O2 and my tubs have 10 3/4" holes plugged with polyfil. In addition, my checking up on my babies leads to a complete air change every 6 hours or so. Nothing has shown any pins. They been in the bin for 10 days. Temp is 82, RH 99%. Suggestions?

Just plain patience. Sucks, I know, but we all have to play the waiting game. I have to manually fan my casings for FAE every so often, so I always have my eye on them and it take forever sometimes for signs of growth. Try to distract yourself somehow.

Ah yes patience. I think what is mostly provoking my anxiety is I had to go out of town for 3 days and I was hoping for something to have happened in my absence. But yes, patience, as I have in fact counseled others...
Thanks for the reminder.

Just think how apprehensive you would be if you didn't go out of town. But it's great to come home to some kind of progress... if we could all be so lucky.

Some times we all need a little reminder/counseling on how to get through the rough spots. GL, keep us posted.
