Title: moisture on cakes
Post by: milesbeyond on November 28, 2004, 04:14:40 PM
i have a kit[white rabbit] and have slighty moist perlite in bottom fresh air humidifier on timer 1 hour every 12 hours hygrometer says 90-95% temp. is between 74-76. the cakes are covered with very small water droplets. this kit has no drip shield (came that way) i thought ithe water was falling from the top so i put a small plastic dome over some of the cakes but no change the cakes have been birthed for over 2 weeks with no sign of primordia. 2 questions will the droplets hurt the cakes & is this a normal length of time to  wait for pinning & primordia? i'm just a newbie so HELP

Small droplets on cakes are not a problem.
After 14 days they  should slowly start to pin.
