dude, i'm thinking you ned to read up on how mushrooms work, man..... it's not like you plant seperate seeds, the whole jar is one organism, the mushrooms are just extensions of tha, there will always be a bunch...... but i'm new, i could be wrong, so yeah, if you manage it, let us all see :D

« on: February 26, 2009, 08:25:32 PM »
me and my bro had an idea of constant growth, fruiting, and re-innoculation; why not just instead of bedding the fruiting chamber with perlite, use the moistened substrate in a clean room, and harvest half of a given crop, and leave the rest to drop spores? it seems like an idea worth experimenting to us, but if anyone has a dealkiller idea please tell us

hi, me and my friend are new to "amateur mycology" and he's incubating, it's been about two weeks since inoculation, and he sees brown "spots" in the mycelium, he says they don't look like vermiculite, and can't tell what they are, whether they are pins or what, but, they aren't pink black green or blue, and we just aren't sure what to do, i was wondering if anyone knew what was up......please if they are pins, let me know we're being dumb haha. seriously, please give us some good news, thanks guys
