PF - Tek / Re: Welcome to the Forum!

Feels kinda weird bumping the welcome thread that hasn't been used in 11 years. But, still seems like the right place to say hello! I got my start with unclebens but ultimately have switched over to PF Tek... and have been lurking here a while. Figured I might as well get involved with the community.

Curious lol... is my knowledge of capitals just a probationary thing that will go away after a while? It's been getting mad at me for putting Ljubljana as the capital of Slovenia but that's what Google tells me it is. It likes it when I say 3 times 4 is 12 though. Finally got to post! Yay!

1) How much spore to use?(I've got 4 10ml syringes of cubensis)
1 ml per cake

2)How long does it take for caking to begin?
What do you mean caking? Fruting? from 3 to 5 weeks after inoculation.

3)How much will I be able to harvest?
Depends on the strain, conditions, luck...

I try to check in everyday.  Its been a long time since I have seen a mushroom question.  I seem to be wasting my time.  S.L. Peele, www.mushroomsfmrc.com

The air requirements are fullfilled when you lift the lid/plastic cover of your setup a few  times a day.

> just curious in general to know just how dangerous rust can be in terms of sterilization.

Not at all, rust is not a contaminant.

>any one have experience with this pc?

I have experience with similar PC, they will work just fine, of course they are limited space wise, but other than that they work just fine.
