Title: Lighting - Natural or Artificial
Post by: kerbamkerpow on April 08, 2010, 02:18:02 AM
Hey. Really sorry I know there have been lots of questions already answered regarding lighting - but as a noob I am finding it hard to figure out which is best - just keeping the babies next to a window, or using an artificial light of some sort. Any ideas which type of lighting is best? (makes or models)

Also - 12 hours on 12 hours off is optimal, right?

I would prefer natural, but would the crop be that much better using artificial?

Thankee muchly.   -_-

the crop wouldn't be better by using more or less light, the light helps trigger the fruiting process... usually artificial or natural  light is kinda up to u....

Well, if you don't have an area for fruiting with natural light you're gonna have to use a bulb.
