what is the best way to test my casing pH level?

i know what to use just not how to use them. i droped some water on the strips from my casing but i dont think its right. the color it turned is not even on the scale. o and i did the 60%/30%10%

Hi,

you mix up some of the casing with de-ionized (destilled) water and test the pH of the resulting solution. At least, that's what you do if you want to test the pH of soil.
