can you use the perlite that contains miracle grow?? Just starting out, need some help... Thanks
My preference is Hydroton or Geolite. I have also used lava rock in the past and it worked well. If you're going to use the Miracle Grow Perlite w/ fertilizer, make sure you wash it well so the fertilizer will wash off and you should be fine.

wash it off or it will grow algae, it works tho thats all i used to use.
