Hi, I'm new to this board and I have a question:
After losing a few cultures to contamination...I've decided to invest in building a small flow hood.
I found a 12" x 12" HEPA Filter, and according to the guide here:
area of the filter (1ft^2) x 100 ft/min (the required air speed) =
the required air my blower has to deliver against 1"(250 Pa) of static pressure (my filter has a static pressure of .8" and the pre-filter has a static pressure of .2") is 100 cfm ( or 170 m^3/h )
So I need a blower that outputs at least 100 cfm at 250 Pa of static pressure...
I found one here on ebay for a pretty low price.
Will this get the job done?
