a friend's growin golden teacher, would a low heat output 125w blue spectrum bulb be a good flourescent. or he has a 250w red spectrum, again low heat output. natural light is not a possibility!! any help?
fryski,
You want to stay as far away from that "Red" spectrum as possible!
Your fruiting and response is due to "Blue" end of the spectrum or natural light. There are fluorescent that are referred to as natural light, or called "Gro Lights" which work excellently. They are 18" in length and the wattage generally are 20w - 36w. Check your local Walmart. They are cheap.
