Ralphster only takes money orders or cash. That information is posted right on the website.

Why don't you just soak it in bleach water and then rinse and dry it?

The longer you keep that bad cake in your home the more chances are that you will never grow anything but mold. Throw it out if you ever want to be successful. Every time you open the container you are distributing spores throughout the room and contaminating everything in there. Get rid of it!!!

I would also go with the alcohol.

PF - Tek / Re: can you use 1 pint jars?

Half pint jars are your best bet for the PF-TEK IMO. They colonize quicker than larger jars, which reduces the possibility of contaminants taking hold.

Sounds like you need to work harder on cleaning your work area before you get started next time. Good old Lysol and 90% alcohol work wonders.

Turning them over to get that last bit at the bottom to colonize has worked well for me in the past also.

After you have completed a few successful grows you will relax and not be quite so impatient. It's hard at first for most of us because we have never grown or seen anything like this growing in controlled conditions.

Yes, the boiling water method works fine for cakes. That is all I ever used when I was doing cakes.

I use 50/50 peat/verm or coir/verm. Either one seems to work equally well. Never used any lime though.

Trash it and start over. Better luck next time. Don't forget to sterilize everything.

Trich always wins but sometimes you can slow it down long enough to harvest a flush.

Different strains have different characteristics. You may also see different results with successive flushes.
