I'm pretty sure there will be no health risks for your newborn daughter, unless she eats the mushrooms that he is growing, then there might be a problem. The mushrooms are susceptible to contaminants that are in the air and are more likely to get sick than they are to cause sickness. You have nothing to worry about.

Let the pros weigh in on this though. They'll have scientific evidence and shit.

Hahaha, that shit looks kinda cool. If I had a Wii and some money I'd probably buy that game for a harvest. I'm rocking the PS3 though, mostly Resident Evil 5 lately. Definitely not going to play that while tripping.

I was kind of shocked too. The only light they are exposed to is when I peek in on them. I keep the incubation chamber covered with a black towel. It's been 24 days since inoculation, so they may be ready to go. Here goes nothing......

So I was out of town for two days over the weekend and I came home to find this......

Hey All,

I was wondering if 11 half pint cakes would be enough to make two mono tubs. I plan on spawning to coir/coffee/verm/gypsum. What size container should I use to get 4" sub and still have enough room for FAE and maintain RH?

Would something like this work: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/420274/Office-Depot-Brand-Clear-Plastic-Storage/

I imagine that I would have to use a ridiculous ratio (1:8 cakes to bulk sub) to get a 4" depth. Would that just take longer to fully colonize the sub before I can trigger pinning.

JRFungi I know you do mono tubs a lot, if you could chime in that would be great. All inputs are much appreciated.

Cover up some holes with lil square peices of duct tape until you reach 100.

Would filling the holes with polyfill work the same as duct tape?

Has anybody used the FSRCanada before or any Free Spore Ring (Europe, South America, etc) in general?

Seems like a great way to get prints without paying too much $$$, just thought I'd ask for input before I send my request form out.

That makes me very happy, b/c this is my first grow and I want to trip now.

My favorite will be the ones that grow in my FC, which will just happen to be Cambodians.

Hey BS, this is my first grow but I'll put my input in.

1) Your pot will work fine for sterilization. If you use a regular pot, you would have to open it up a few times to refill with water due to evaporation. Yours will work fine.

2) Plastic jars will not be affected in the sterilization process (melting, etc.), I don't see any problem with plastic jars. You can also cover with a double layer, then a single layer of tin foil if the lid is not up to your standards.

3) Must have Brown Rice Flour for the PF Tek. Or Brown Rice and grind it down to a flour.

4) I am colonizing the Cambodians right now, mostly b/c it's my first time. I think I'm going to do Brazilians and either Ecuador or U.S. Virgin Islands next.

5) Sterilization is key to success. Latex cloves will work fine, I don't know anything about Vinyl cloves. If you're doing a shotgun FC you will have to have Perlite. Clay pellets don't absorb water the same as perlite and the water will drain out of the shotgun FC, if using clay pellets. If you don't want to buy perlite, look into a Poor-Mans Pod, found here: http://www.shroomery.org/9047/Poor-Mans-Pod

If you're referring to me as the grammar police, all I have to say is:  I was demonstrating that while you point your finger, someone else is judging you; judge not unless you're ready for judgement - as the great Bob Marley sang.

As far as grammar goes: I think everyone (not just you) should be able to use the correct form of: too, to, two, & their, there, they're. It can really make it easier on the readers of a post. What do I know though, I only have a Bachelors degree in business.......
