first, does a lawn and garden store carry rye seed?? and second, how long will a colonized jar of rye keep if i can't fruit it immediatly. how should it be stored for that perod of time???
I am not sure about the rye seed but I would call before making a trip. You can keep them in the fridge ive heard up to 3-4 weeks with no noticable side effects im sure you could add 1 or 2 more if need be. tho ive never had to store them for longer than a week or 2 longer inside the incubator.

thanks pw. i'm in the process of selling my house, so i can't have fc's all over when showing the house. i can easily hide the incubator tubs.
