Not sure, I have 4 cakes that developed sour rot so I burried them under a couple inches of top soil in a shaded area. Nothing yet.

oh righ on baph, thanks. Anyway, that RR guy rips, those "lets grow mushroom" videos 14 on youtube tell you almost everything you need to know about growing. Thats where I got my start.

I don't have experience with casings but I thought Iheard that the RH in the FC should be 95% with casings and 100% for cakes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Bummer dude. You were having some super duper grows too. I live in the upper northeast and did my first grow and now its getting warm and I didn't know If contamination is more prevalent in the spring and summer.

I dunked and rolled some of my cakes and some I didn't to see the difference. I misted them big time to keep the humidity up. It's real dry arouind here. I've had no problems getting some mist on the mycelium. Now misting bulk would be slight different... good luck. I guess I didn't reallt answer your question.

I tried some of my first batch fresh and they went down much better. I actually enjoyed the flavor. When they are dry it seems as though they don't taste good and get all stuck in my teeth. EAT AWAY!!!

Im really new at this too, but i just opened up my miniblinds a little bit at let some indirect sunlight in on them and probobly only like 10 hours a day do to natural conditions. I had not problems. Good luck

Just curious, my first flush took about 16 days for a nice pinset. Should I expect a faster pinset on my second/ 3rd flush?

Strain is Alacabenzi from spores101. First flush. My humidity got a little low now and again, but on the first flush 3 cakes got my 35 grams dry. Not too bad I think. First grow ever for me. Thanks for all the help guys.

Well probobly not a winner, but one of my first cakes ever.! I had 3 to harvest two days ago, but when I came home from a couple of days away and saw that it was harvest time if not a little past I got too excited and only took a picture of the last cake to be harvested. Enjoy all!!!!

The only thing I thing happened is that some monster mushies that were growing got stunted. Still tripped my ass off and that is the bottom line!.!

I just think they grow faster at night because I'm not checking on them as much. Plus they are sneaky little fuckers.

Yup... had to eat the clump and a couple of more that were behind it. Man did I ever forget what it was like. Can't wait to double the dose when I get some more... I just had to try freshies. Never had them before.
