Going to case some rye grains in a week or so, wondering what the best casing would be for them? Verm/PM? Straw/manure? do i need to use lime for PH levels?

Wondering why people on here dont trade spore prints? saw a few posts on another site where folks were trading prints. since a "print" has no illegal
strings attached to it...right?

the grain bags im using are each about 2LBS each so 1cc should be enough for a 2LB sterilized bag?

yes im going to case them for sure, then next week its on to the grains!
i have about 7 different prints to try out and its gonna be fun! got a few 2LB bags so im wondering how many cc's i should hit each bag with?

So the big cake is spitting out fruits faster than i expected! also inoculated a few jars from a print i took last week and the jars looked like this after only 3 days! what a great surprize. 

Wondering if anyone has any experience with the yosterizii strain?

So im thinking of trying out the azurescens. I seem to have the cubes down pretty well so i want to expand. any thoughts on this? maybe another type
i should try before the aurescens? Im also trying to boost my meditation time with a nice visual enhancement but the cubes seem to loose steam durring this state. any advice on a good strain to boost this?

could be a pretty sweet FC for azurescens. Post up some pics when your FC is done. Make sure to bleach that sucker under the panels where mold likes to grow  but cant be seen. 

The cake is BRF. has many pins staring as of today. not sure my cooking bag idea is going to work out, checked it this morning and the BRF substrate is very dry around the edges. back to the drawing board. 

Hello ImaFungi..Id think missouri would be an excellent place to grow a nice bed of azurescens or cyanescens. Somewhere on here there is a Tek or a link to a Tek. Good luck with your grow. 

a few of my new fruits look a bit morphed. one from the 2nd flush is a big monster, and a pic of my giant cake. still waiting on my 2 LB monster cake to fully colonize..

Dub....noticed you said you had a "super cake" going? Not sure if i its anything like this but i just expeimented with a cooking bag Vm/BRC mix (about 12 half pt jars worth of mix) and innoculated them this morning and they are toasty and sleeping. Cant wait to see the outcome!

Is it feesable to use a sterilized glass pint jar, make the print inside the bottom and then simply fill with sterile water for syringe inoculation method?

The reason i ask about the added vitamins to substrate is...

Shroomzer...do you find that any one strain yeilds better than another using the honey? if so which strains? also has anyone ever tried any form of powdered vitams in their substrate? im guessing the intense heat may effect it when sterilizing, but it would seem some may enhance the fruits if they could withstand the heat?

Well the cakes and casings are starting to fruit like CRAZY!
the over growth that had fell onto the lava rocks below has also sprouted fruits. going to get pics later. heard something about cakes and some casings liking honey added to the soaking water, any truth to this? if so what strains?

are you in the usa? how about just sterilized grain bags?
