Title: refrigerated grain spawn

How long can colonized rye grain spawn last in the fridge before it is no longer viable for 1. g to g transfers 2.Spawn to bulk 3. case and fruit the grain.  Is there any one of the three where it can last longer?

1,2,3: The longest I have heard of stalling jars in the fridge was 3 months with no noticable effects. I'd clean the fridge tho.
