Ive searched for this answer with no luck. Thanks for any thoughts.

I have a heady duty exhaust fan with 10" blades and variable speed. Can i use it for a flow hood? Is there a reason why people only talk about blowers? I have one installed in the garage and it moves a ton of air on HI. I have the other one im not using is why i ask.

Here is a pic of the fan. Its the third one down, with the shutter i can take off.

I can't see the picture....What are the specifications of the fan, the technical data? What filter do you want to use it with?
