Title: using rye
Post by: peanut424 on December 09, 2009, 10:48:48 PM
i was wondering if i used rye grain to grow the mycellium if i could break it up and pour it in a tray to start fruiting, that way there is more surface area from the shrooms to grow.
if that is not a good idea, then how can i get a whole tray to produce mushrooms rather than a couple cakes.
can i pressure cook an aluminum tray with the rye grain or vermaculite inside it  then innoculate it and let the mycellium grow that way?
and if anyone knows if cubensis give a strong trip
or what should a regulare dose of cubensis be, please say so.
