Title: Reptile egg Incubator @ store
Post by: tritone on May 06, 2010, 05:59:09 AM
Greetings all!

There is this product out there that looks ideal for incubation. Temp & Humidity digital control 12x12x9.5. range from 55-110 or something like that
Very reasonable under $ 130.00

I'm thinking about getting it or is this overkill! I do not see how you can keep a steady temp of 86 with consistency that seems difficult to me.

Cheers mate! do no give up the fight!

I have been incubating my jars in a closet that ranges from 65 to 80F. Just keep em dark, and humidity during incubation doesn't matter because they are in a basically saeled jar. I use room temp and room humidity without any problems. Save the loot bro.

Don't waste your money. 86 is a little high for incubation. Room temps will work fine. If your temps are cold make a TIT "Tub in Tub incubator". Simply put, 2 plastic tubs of the same shape size. Water, spacers, and aquarium heater in bottom tub. Place the second tub in the first and there's your incubator.
