Title: FC Holes Necessary?
Post by: nahinu1 on October 19, 2008, 07:52:29 AM
I was wondering if drilling holes in the FC is necessary? If I fan it a few times a day? Doen't that create more humidity?

Afaik holes are down to personal preference, but yes no holes would indeed help with raising humidIty.

Obviously if there are no holes then air circulation is non existant so yes fanning would be a requirement

I don't put holes in my FC what I do is remove the cover and fan the FC 3 times a day.  It works great for me.

There are many conflicting TEKs on FCs and whether there should be holes or not.
That's why I don't use a damn tub.
Green houses all the way
Just manually fan it 3 - 5 times a day.
Without holes :)
